booking policy

A.) Cancellations and reschedules must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the appointment time. Failure to cancel before 24 hours will result in a fee of 50% of the total appointment cost. Day of, no call-no show clients will be charged the complete total of their appointment cost

.B.). Clients receiving a chemical service for the first time are required to submit a nonrefundable $100 deposit that will be deducted from their total on the day of their appointment.

C.) No guests may accompany clients to their services besides someone helping a person with disabilities or a parent or guardian assisting a small child.  While we love dogs, we ask that you please leave your pets at home.

D.) No refunds will be given on services. If the client is unsatisfied with the final results of their appointment, they may contact The 1994 within seven days of the original appointment and discuss a resolution which may include a second appointment to correct the service.

E.). If any client has been exposed to COVID-19 or is experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms including coughing, body aches, or fever, they must reschedule their appointment, Cancellation policy (section A) still applies. If the client has been diagnosed with COVID-19, more than seven days have passed since their positive test, and they are not experiencing any symptoms, they may attend their appointment while wearing a face covering over their nose and mouth. Some spa services may need to be altered/canceled if the service can not be performed with a mask on.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good esthetician and I’m so glad I found Hanna! I got a lash lift, facial, and brow shaping done and everything turned out perfect. My lashes have never looked so good (the first lash lift that has actually worked for me), my skin feels super glowy and refreshed, and my brows are finally the shape I’ve been wanting. Hanna made the whole experience relaxing and wonderful — plus the studio is beautiful. Grateful I found her!

I saw Drea for a haircut a few weeks ago and have been meaning to write a review because I had such a positive experience. Not only did she give me a great cut without taking too much of my length but she also styled my curly hair in a way I actually really liked (honestly a rare experience for me), educated me on how I can keep my hair better hydrated in a way that works with my lifestyle and she made me feel good about my hair - I walked out feeling beautiful and as someone who has a complicated relationship with my hair that is quite a feat.

I just had my first appointment at the salon. It was a beautiful space. I saw Olivia, who was recommended to me for wavy/curly hair. Olivia is a lovely human with a ton of knowledge of various textures of hair.

This was my first official curly cut and she walked me through every step, really listened to me, and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure she followed what I wanted. It's always scary going to someone new, and Olivia really put me at ease. I had a great experience!
